Emap has launched its first combined SMS and television campaign to promote the new Eminem film, 8 Mile.
The promotion will run across Emap’s music channels: The Box, Kiss TV and Kerrang! TV, which will all participate in a special 8 Mile ‘winning weekend’.
The channels will screen the official movie trailer alongside hourly competitions to win tickets to an exclusive showing of the film in London.
The competitions will be promoted through the Kiss ‘Hey Sexy’ SMS database, which will send out competition questions and allow recipients to text back the answers. A second message will be sent out to remind database members to tune in to the channels for further chances to win.
