Times Boosts Fashion Coverage With Bumper Supplement

The Sunday Times will publish its biggest ever Style supplement on 19 September, packing the 156-page seasonal fashion special with exclusive features on Madonna’s wardrobe and England’s most fashionable health gurus.

The autumn special will focus on the ‘hottest and hippest’ trends for the season, forming what the newspaper claims is an ‘invaluable and luxurious handbook’ guiding readers through this year’s fashion dos and don’ts.

Printed on increased quality paper, the supplement will give readers a mix of quality fashion advice, photography, beauty expertise, in-depth articles and interviews. Highlights of the style bible include features on the top ten bags for autumn, the seasons best trends and interviews with Justin from the Darkness, Anna Friel and Camilla Rutherford.

The launch of the seasonal special will be supported by an extensive radio advertising campaign, as well as through sampling in Selfridges stores across the country.

The bumper special follows a super-sized Appointments section published with the newspaper yesterday. The 20-page supplement was the paper’s biggest recruitment supplement for over three years and attracted several high-profile advertisers, billing itself as the ‘belweather of the recruitment industry and claiming a return of confidence amongst the UK’s business sector.

The Sunday Times recently announced publication of a massive 32-page guide to one of the sporting world’s most prestigious events this month, capitalising on this year’s Ryder Cup tournament and featuring exclusive analysis from Nick Faldo, the contest’s most successful player of all time.

The paper provided readers with a features packed insight into the contest with profiles of the teams and Ryder Cup records, as well as expert critique of the legendary Oakland Hills course and a piece on the architect who designed it (see Times Tees Off Ryder Coverage With Faldo Supplement).
