City AM Expands Within Weeks Of Launch

City AM Cover London’s newest free morning paper, City AM, has announced its first brand extension just weeks after hitting the capital’s streets.

The paper will launch City AM Living, its new fortnightly property supplement on 6 October, with plans to take the title weekly later in the year.

Printed in full colour, the new supplement will comprise 24 pages of upmarket London, UK and international properties in keeping with the paper’s ethos of offering “business with personality.”

The title will cover commercial and private property issues through the eyes of those making money in the sector and will be included in City AM‘s daily distribution, which now stands at more than 65,000.

Explaining the supplement’s appeal, Jeremy Slattery, advertising controller at the newspaper said: “We have made a terrific start both commercially and editorially and are beating our sales targets after only four weeks. City AM Living launches in response to advertiser demand and is the first of several supplements that we are planning in forthcoming weeks.

“Response from advertisers and agencies has been excellent as they can see that City AM delivers a concentrated, high-spending and influential urban audience.”

City AM launched ahead of schedule last month, with the paper’s initial print run of 60,000 already extended due to demand within its distribution area of the City and Canary Wharf. The paper’s aim is to extend circulation to 100,000 copies within its first three months of publication (see City AM Launches Ahead of Plan).
