Times Employs Broadsystem For Subscription Programme

Broadsystem Logo Data specialist, Broadsystem, has been hired by The Times and Sunday Times to look after its subscription programme for the next three years.

The new system will deal with all subscription acquisition, management and launch a subscription subscriber category, with the move part of a strategy to place subscriptions at the centre of the daily papers operations.

Broadsystem will also introduce a tool, which will build an audit trail of each subscriber for customer profiling.

Commenting on the new technology, Toby Price, relationship marketing manager for Times Newspapers said: “Subscriptions are core strategic tools for us at The Times and the Sunday Times and offer us excellent relationship building opportunities.”

He continued: “We have always been very impressed by Broadsystem and we look forward to working with them to further develop our subscriptions offering.”

Caroline Worboys, managing director at Broadsystem added: “This is a huge win for us and one that is testament to the dedication and experience of the team here at Broadsystem.

Earlier this year, specialist magazine publisher, Future, appointed Broadsystem, to help strengthen itself through increased advertising and subscription revenue (see Future Focuses On Data To Boost Revenues).

In the deal, Broadsystem will build a bespoke, specialist database to Future’s requirements and then manage data feeds with experienced personal to help Future understand the data process.
