POSTAR Managing Director Leaves For New Challenge

Postar Logo Helen Tridgell, managing director of the outdoor media measurement group, POSTAR, has left the company after five years to look for a “new challenge.”

During her time at POSTAR, Tridgell worked hard making the research body concentrate on covering the entire London underground network instead of just roadside billboards. The company is reported to have future plans to cover national radio and retail outdoor sites as well.

Commenting on the departure, Ken New, chairman of POSTAR said: “Bringing together the different methodologies requires to measure audiences across a multitude of outdoor formats in different environments has been a huge challenge and Helen has been central to that process.”

Tridgell added: “I’ve enjoyed a challenging five years at POSTAR and I am particularly pleased with our achievements on inclusively and the accreditation of TRAC.”

The Tube Research Audience Classification (TRAC) system was accredited by POSTAR’s management this summer and sees advertisements on the London Underground train network being included in the POSTAR survey (see POSTAR Expands To Include Tube Advertisements).

According to the company, the move is the first step towards unified form of home media measurement. The combined figures will be published via POSTAR’s delivery system and website.
