Media Audits In Talks Over Sale To Accenture

Media Consultancy and auditing company Media Audits is said to have been talking to interested parties about a possible sale.

Industry rumblings suggest that negotiations have reached a stage where Accenture is now in exclusive talks with the company.

The rumours follow hot on the heels of the sale of rival consulting and auditing company Billetts to Thomson Intermedia, which was completed in early August (see Thomson Intermedia Scoops Billetts For £13.1 Million).

Media Audits works for over 400 clients, including more than 60% of the top 100 advertisers across 50 countries, with about 150 staff worldwide.

Accenture, formerly Andersen Consulting, offers management consulting, technology services and outsourcing, and has 110 offices worldwide.
