IPA Elects Six New Member Agencies

IPA Logo The IPA has elected six new agencies into membership at its quarterly council meeting, welcoming several specialists in full service, marketing communications, digital media, direct response, and media planning and buying.

The new members, Albion, Chalk & Ward Advertising, Connect Advertising & Marketing LLP, Summit Media, MediaVest (Leeds) and Total Media Direct takes the total number of IPA member agencies to 244.

In addition, 44 personal members were elected during the meeting, bringing the IPA’s personal member count to 637. As of 1 July the criteria for personal membership changes to include successful completion of an IPA qualification in addition to the existing criteria.

Last month saw the IPA continue to expand its horizons, with its digital marketing group, IPA/DMG, announcing support of recent JICWEBS and ABC ELECTRONIC work to drive forward development of industry standards for online media measurement (see IPA Supports JICWEBS And ABC ELECTRONIC Work).

The marketing body has also begun roll out of several online learning modules, with the first focusing on the National Readership Survey and designed to give the communication industry a better understanding of the currencies used to measure audiences (see IPA To Roll Out Online Learning Modules).
