Conde Nast To Bring Trader Monthly To Britain

Trader Monthly Cover Condé Nast has announced plans to publish Trader Monthly, the successful US magazine for financial traders and hedge fund managers, in the UK.

Produced in collaboration with Condé Nast Contract Publishing, the magazine will be available from October, celebrating the young, hedonistic lifestyle of traders.

The title combines inside-track information with lifestyle content. The British launch will have an initial circulation of 50,000.

Condé Nast is optimistic for the launch, with the Daily Telegraph having described its American version as “one of those ideas that is so obvious someone must have had it before and so inspired you’re annoyed it wasn’t you.”

Commenting on the new launch, Sue Douglas, president of new business at Condé Nast, said: “Trader Monthly is an original and clever magazine that will not fail to appeal to anyone picking it up. We’re very excited to be involved”

Clare Dove, publisher for the Condé Nast Contracts division added: “This is a magazine with a circulation and proven demographic of 50,000 AB men with an average annual income of over £250,000. Trader Monthly’s readers are young men who work, live and spend in a unique and enviable way. The magazine is quite simply, gold dust for advertisers.

“To be announcing our European launch, just eight months after we published our first issue in the U.S. is proof of this brand’s unique appeal and strength,” said Magnus Greaves, founder of Trader Magazine and chairman of its parent company, Doubledown Media. “Having Condé Nast as a partner in this venture will enable us to have a product that has tremendous appeal to both our readers and advertisers.”

The magazine will be supplied free of charge to all professional traders, with a cover price of £10 per issue for non-traders. Subscriptions are available online at www.traderdaily.com/europe.html.
