Magners Launches Blossom Pumping Promo Poster

Magners Poster Magners Irish Cider is hoping for the sweet smell of success with its latest promotion – a billboard designed to fill the air with apple blossom.

The inventive promotion will be positioned next to one of Britain’s busiest roads, the A4 leading into London, spraying real apple blossom into the air at regular 15 minute intervals between 7am and 7pm.

The billboard, which was planned and bought by MPG, will tie in with the brewer’s blossom-themed Spring TV campaign, and follows Magners’ domination of Waterloo Underground station, which was turned into a “virtual apple orchard” last month.

The special 96-sheet poster will be put into place on 13 May, spraying the area with its unique odour for nine days in total.

Stephen Kent, brands director at Magners said: “We are delighted to be associated with innovation and this successfully encapsulates the idea of sharing the natural environment and seasonal changes of the Magners orchard with our consumers, so they too can enjoy it as we do.”
