Freeman Backtracks From I-Level To Remain At Guardian

Adam Freeman Adam Freeman is to remain at Guardian Unlimited as the company’s head of commercial development, reversing a previous announcement that he was to join digital media specialist I-Level at the last minute.

The media boss was due to join I-Level spin off, Generator Consulting, this month, but will now remain with the Guardian, continuing his current role for the foreseeable future.

Generator was spun off from I-Level Advertising in November, offering clients including GCap Media, the AA, RAF, BSkyB and Orange consulting services from an objective standpoint as an independent firm.

Speaking at the time of Generator’s divergence from I-Level, Matthew Pitt, managing partner of the consultancy firm, said: “Growing confidence in the digital sector has increased the demand from businesses to take advantage of the new opportunities to engage with consumers. By matching customer needs to business goals we deliver tangible results for our clients that impact directly on the bottom line.”
