IPC Country Title Shifts Focus For City Special

City Life Cover IPC’s quintessentially English magazine Country Life will switch focus this month to celebrate the very best of London, in a special supplement entitled City Life.

The unusual venture is the fruit of a cooperation between IPC and Guest Invest, a company which allows investors to buy a luxury hotel room and earn 50% of its income when others use it.

The City Life supplement will be bagged with this week’s issue of Country Life, featuring an insightful look at the capital’s architecture, property, park life and racecourses.

Readers will also find an “experts guide” to film, music, art, sport and theatre, designed to help any visitor to London get the most out of their visit.

The supplement weighs in a 60-pages, with advice, photography and illustrations from well known names including Emma Hope, Zac Goldsmith, Nigel Farndale and Nicolas Foulkes.

Country Life’s latest ABC results show the title’s circulation slipping, recording a 5.8% dip in 2005 compared to the previous 12 months. The magazine now commands sales of 40,205.
