Emap Advertising in Scotland will get a further boost with the appointment of Jenny Clarke to the new role of head of sponsorship, promotions and client sales.
Clarke, who was previously client development group head at GWR Radio, will take up the role at the beginning of next month, reporting to commercial director Barry Wood, who was appointment last month (see Wood Bolsters Emap Scotland).
The new position will see Clarke focus on proactively selling radio sponsorship and promotions opportunities to Scottish media agencies and clients, across Emap’s extensive national radio brands portfolio.
Clarke brings 13 years experience in sales and marketing to the role, having worked both in the UK and abroad for a variety of leading media companies, including Channel 4 and Pearl & Dean International.
Emap Advertising’s ten-strong, Edinburgh based team delivers creative solutions and account management to both Scottish agencies and the Scottish Executive, facilitating easy access to Emap Advertising’s national radio brands, which are becoming an increasingly important tool for targeting specific audiences within the UK.
