Full-Day TV Seminar To Tackle Big Industry Issues

TELEVISION Can anyone predict where the television market is heading? Will ITV, Channel 4 and Sky continue to reign supreme in the commercial sphere, will TV on-demand, mobile TV and television over the internet become the dominant platforms, and will advertising have to adapt to the influence of devices like personal video recorders?

These are some of the questions, along with those surrounding the difficulties and issues with audience measurement of these emerging technologies, that MediaTel Group’s latest seminar will look to answering.

The company has expanded its previously successful seminar format, increasing the event to a full-day session, in order to thoroughly tackle the issues involved in this behemoth market.

A focus on the existing TV market will take place in the morning session, whilst the afternoon will give delegates a chance to hear predictions for the future.

Both sessions will begin with a comprehensive presentation from MediaTel INSIGHT on the latest facts and figures, whilst the two panels will be made up of esteemed figures from companies such as Starcom Mediavest Group, Channel 4, Viacom Brand Solutions, Endemol, and the BBC.

Delegates can attend for the full day or come to either the morning or the afternoon session.

The ‘Future of Television’ takes place on Tuesday 9 October at ABN AMRO, 250 Bishopsgate, London. Tickets are priced at £435 + VAT for the full day (including lunch), or £240 + VAT for either session.
