ITV1 Crime Drama Falls From Grace

Fallen Angel BBC One’s time travelling cop drama, Life On Mars, was watched by almost 4.9 million adults last night, giving the channel around a 22% audience share between 9pm and 10pm.

The conclusion of ITV1’s crime drama Fallen Angel, also set in the 70s, failed to gain as many viewers, with a little over 4.6 million adults tuning in to see Tigerlily Hutchinson as the five-year-old incarnation of the story’s main protagonist. The programme had an audience of almost 6.4 million adults when it began on Sunday night.

Earlier on the channel, a new series which gives fly on the wall insight into police work, Cops With Cameras, gained the broadcaster a 20.7% audience share, with more than 4.1 million adult viewers.

Bodyshock: World’s Biggest Boy, proved popular for Channel 4, taking almost 2.5 million viewers (11%), whilst CSI: Crime Scene Investigation lured more than 2.6 million (12%) to Five.

Comic Relief Does Fame Academy, which saw TV presenter Angellica Bell eliminated after a woeful rendition of Kylie Minogue’s Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, was seen by around five million adults for its first instalment, whilst more than 5.2 million tuned in for the results show.
