Pizza Hut Secures Pearl & Dean Family Gold Slot

Pizzahut Logo Pizza Hut has secured exclusive rights to the ‘Family Gold Spot’ advertising slot, to air before all family films in a seven-figure deal.

In a one-year agreement brokered by Pearl & Dean and Carlton Screen Advertising on behalf of the Cinema Advertising Association, Pizza Hut’s 60-second creative will run before this year’s big family releases from June onwards, including Shrek the Third and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Creative will focus on encouraging people to go out as a family, whether to the cinema or to the restaurant. Pizza Hut will be supporting the ‘Family Gold Spot’ advertising with a money-off cinema ticket promotion, advertising on in-foyer TV and six-sheets.

Mike Hope-Milne, sales director at Pearl & Dean, said: “After several months of working with Pizza Hut and Starcom, I am delighted that we have developed a highly effective campaign for Pizza Hut that will connect with cinema-going families. Pizza Hut will really benefit from being associated with the hit family films due out this year.”
