True Dare Kiss True Dare Kiss, BBC One’s disturbing new drama serial, picked up a peak audience of 4.4 million adults (a 22.7% viewing share) at 9pm on what was a very solid night for the channel last night.

The raw and sparky new show saw sisters Phil, Beth, Nita and Alice reunited for the first time in 20 years following the death of their father.

Up against it on ITV1 was a repeat of everyone’s favourite bloodthirsty period romp, Sharpe. The Sean Bean action adventure had a peak audience of 2.8 million adults (a 14.8% viewing share).

On at 8pm on BBC One was the doctors and nurses drama Holby City. The show had a peak audience of 4.7 million adults, and an average of 4.5 million stuck with it throughout its hour long running time.

Last night’s episode featured some cracking action, as Chrissie persuaded the nurses to take industrial action over staff shortages, whilst devious Dan asked Jac to take on a patient who Diane had misdiagnosed.
