Bauer Media Announces Multi-Platform Campaign For RAF

RAF Logo Bauer Media has announced a multi-platform campaign for the Royal Air Force, through the Central Office of Information (COI), to promote and drive recruitment.

The activity will run across Bauer Media’s multi-platform media brands including Zoo, heat, more!, Kerrang! The Box, Kiss, 4Music and Workmoose, Bauer Media’s recruitment website.

The campaign is designed to promote the RAF’s personal administrator roles to an audience of men and women aged 16 to 24. The campaign will follow the experiences of two celebrities, Darren Jeffries and Matt Littler, who played Max and OB in the hit Channel 4 show Hollyoaks, as they undertake a week of challenging new recruit and specialist training tasks.

Starting on October 13, the seven week campaign will see the print titles carry advertorials and editorial interviews with the Hollyoaks stars while radio and TV brands will air short features in a diary format.

The deal was agreed by Lillian Betty, associate director at Bauer Media and Nigel Wheat, senior integration manager at COI.

Adrian Serle, commercial development director at Bauer Media, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to work with the RAF on this campaign.

“The creative we have designed works well across all our brand platforms and uses two well-known faces as ambassadors to encourage the audience to engage and take interest in the recruitment opportunities available in the RAF.”
