RAB Launches Advertiser Funded Partnership

RAB The Radio Advertising Bureau is to create a £3 million advertising-funded partnership, intended to give clients more from their radio activity.

The RAB will work with advertisers to ensure that they get the support that is most relevant to the challenges facing their brands – this could take the form of research, creative consultation or idea generation sessions with top programmers.

Simon Redican, managing director of the RAB, said: “We have spoken to both clients and agencies alike to find out where they needed help and it largely fell into three areas: effectiveness, creativity and idea generation.

“So, we wrote an individual letter to the clients and offered them a bespoke solution to their particular problem. There were 35 advertisers present yesterday and all left with a bespoke offer pertinent to each one’s business.”

The scheme will see the RAB provide bespoke research packages using the resources of major commercial radio companies to help with creativity as well as idea generation sessions with top programmers.
