Bauer Advertising Announces New Mobile Deal With Doritos

Bauer Logo Bauer Advertising and Doritos have teamed up for a new a consumer generated ad promotion.

Doritos is investing £2.5 million in the promotion, which uses Bauer’s mobile UGC service Eyevibe, to invite consumers to make and select the next Doritos TV advert.

The media campaign marks the first time Doritos has used a mobile WAP platform as part of its activity.

Bruce Daisley, head of digital at Bauer, said: “We are delighted to be working with Doritos on their first ever mobile WAP activity. Bauer’s Eyevibe platform can really engage users with a brand.”

The campaign, planned by OMD UK, will encourage people to click on www.doritos.co.uk and vote for the next Doritos TV advert during a three-week period from May 27.

Five videos will be short listed and promoted free to watch on the Eyevibe service, available on 3 and O2 as well as Bauer’s FHM and Empire websites.

The winning entry will win £20,000 and see their advert broadcast on national TV.
