RAB launches Ad Doctor

RAB Logo The Radio Advertising Bureau is set to launch a new consultation service for advertisers, media and creative agencies in a bid to encourage more radio advertising.

Ad Doctor, which aims to help individual advertisers to “overcome creative barriers” to use radio as part of their campaign mix, will be rolled out by the RAB this week.

The RAB describes the service as an “objective consultation” to improve overall creative effectiveness – “The aim is to help customers create more effective radio ads,” said Simon Redican, managing director of the RAB.

“If customers are finding it difficult to visualise how radio can work for their brand creatively or if they are struggling to crack a specific brief, the ad doctor can help them,” he added.

Redican said: “Some customers might want to get a broader perspective on the effectiveness of their current campaign – others might be keen to reduce the terms and conditions or legal tags at the end of their ads; the ad doctor can help them and the great thing for clients is that it won’t cost them a penny.”
