Kiss Launches Radio Stream Via iPhone

Kiss Kiss 100 is set to launch its radio service via Apple’s new iPhone, allowing fans to listen to the station on their mobile phone.

Listeners will be able to access Kiss at www.totalkiss.com via their iPhone’s mobile internet browser, which will also incorporate an exclusive ‘audio bumper’ before the live coverage.

It will be the first time a UK radio broadcaster has been able to offer advertisers pre-roll commercial advertising to target mobile listeners.

A bespoke landing page has also been designed for the iPhone website, giving advertisers additional ad space.

Tom Barham, at Bauer Digital, said: “This is the way forward for any music brand. Kiss has continually launched products that cater for the needs of their users.”

He added: “This is a great new ad product that creates some exciting new commercial opportunties for advertisers to target iPhone users.”

Bauer Radio is keen to explore more opportunities for Kiss to be heard with other mobile operators, which will also involve expanding the range of advertising prospects on offer.

Bruce Mitchell, head of digital at Kiss, said: “We are looking forward to working with advertisers to develop advertising campaigns, targeting our sought after audience wherever and however they choose to listen.”
