Natmags appoints new chief executive

Nat Mags Logo Arnaud de Puyfontaine has been appointed new chief executive of NatMags, replacing Duncan Edwards.

De Puyfontaine, former head of Emap France, will report to Edwards, who was promoted to president and chief executive of non-US operations at NatMags’ parent company Hearst in January.

De Puyfontaine joined Emap France in 1995, becoming chief executive three years later. When Group Mondadori purchased Emap France in 2006, he took on the same role there. In 2007 he became became president of the company with worldwide responsibilities for all digital developments.

De Puyfontaine said: “The National Magazine Company is one that I have known and admired for a long time and I’m pleased to be joining as chief executive.

“Both NatMag and Hearst are renowned for the quality of their editorial products and the professionalism of their business approach and I am looking forward to being part of that culture.”
