Richard Titus named new CEO of Associated Newspapers’ digital division

Richard Titus named new CEO of Associated Newspapers’ digital division

Richard Titus Richard Titus has been appointed as chief executive of Associated Newspapers’ digital division, AND.

Titus was previously controller of future media at the BBC. He replaces Andy Hart who left AND last July. Before working at the BBC, Titus was at US web agency Schematic.

AND operates the digital assets of Associated Newspapers and Northcliffe Media.

Titus will report to Associated Newspapers group managing director Kevin Beatty.

Mark Kortekaas, a former digital executive at NBC and Sony, takes over Titus’ role at the BBC.

Beatty said: “Richard’s primary focus will be the leadership, growth and strategic direction of AND.

“He will support its executives in developing their businesses into new and existing markets. He will also be available to share his considerable digital consumer experience across the rest of our business.”
