WPP has announced that it expects revenue to grow by around 6% this year, driven by the Olympic Games in China.
Last month, WPP reported a pre-tax profit of £817 million following 5% growth in revenues in the fourth quarter.
The group posted revenues of £6.19 billion as billings rose 5% to £31.7 billion and expects 2008 to be even better.
WPP estimated new billings of £5.03 billion were won last year, reflecting an unprecedented run of new business wins including the Dell, Bank of America and Bose accounts in the final quarter of 2007.
