eProcurement Slow To Take Off

New Research from Jupiter reveleals that most companies are slow to move their buying processes onto the Internet many are hesitating to do so at all.

Jupiter studied ‘eprocurement’ and found that many procurement managers “see so little advantage in moving online” that they will do less than 20% of their business buying online until 2003 at least.

Many managers are reluctant to spend time learning about the new marketplace and others see no reason to change their buying patterns until their suppliers move to online selling themselves.
