Over 60% of US internet households would be willing to switch their video, telephone and internet services to a single provider if they could save at least $20 a month, says a new report.
The study, based on internet survey of 4,000 households also revealed that 74% of households are likely to upgrade to broadband internet in the next 12 months would subscribe to a bundled service package that could save them $20 a month for data, voice and video services.
Analyst, William Cheek said: “Cost is important to subscribers and at least some savings must be a central theme of any successful campaign for bundled services.”
He added: “As more households switch from narrowband to broadband, the number of households with bundled services could increase almost in tandem, provided that providers offer and adequately demonstrate that value – above and beyond cost savings – of these options.”
