NatMag appoints Jane Ennis as editor of Reveal

The National Magazine Company has appointed former Best editor Jane Ennis as the new editor of Reveal.

Ennis will replace Michael Butcher on October 26, and will work alongside the current editor for a week before his departure on October 30.

Before working at Best magazine, Ennis was a magazine and newspaper consultant and worked on the relaunch of the Daily Mail Weekend magazine as well as being editor of Now magazine between 1996 to 2007.

NatMag is now looking for her replacement at Best.

“Jane’s contact book, skill and experience will ensure that Reveal continues to grow rapidly and deliver the scale that advertisers expect and the entertainment consumers demand.”

In the latest ABC release, for January to June 2009, Reveal enjoyed a 14% year on year increase to more than 315,000 copies.
