Online radio revenue in the US is expected to grow 12% to $441 million this year, according to a new forecast from SNL Kagan.
SNL Kagan also predicts a 20% increase in 2010, to $530 million.
Online revenue is expected to grow from 2.7% of total radio revenue in 2009 to 3.2% of the total in 2010.
By 2013 it is expected to level off, accounting for 4.7% of radio’s total revenue.
ZenithOptimedia recently forecast that global radio advertising would take a 7.4% share of total global adspend in 2011, down from 7.7% this year.
