Bauer Media shuffles senior advertising team

Bauer Media is making senior changes to its advertising team, which it says will “further simplify how the company operates in the media marketplace”.

Abby Carvosso has been appointed to the newly-created role of head of magazine sales to lead Bauer Media’s women’s, men’s, music and entertainment magazine sales teams. Richard Hayes, head of magazine trading will report to Carvosso.

Carvosso was deputy MD of Grazia and POP and previously led advertising sales teams in the glossy women’s market.

Paul Keenan, CEO Bauer Media commented: “We believe now is the right time to invest senior resource to this role and bring a fresh focus to sales excellence, our clients and our creativity. Abby’s experience of building and leading high performing teams, plus her infectious energy and ambition will be crucial for success in delivering market-leading revenue across our magazine brands.”

Elsewhere, Richard Phillips is promoted to head of digital sales with immediate effect. He was previously director of men’s media.
