IPA appoints nine new members

Nine new agencies have been elected into IPA membership at the organisation’s quarterly council meeting.

Yesterday’s meeting saw the following agencies elected to full membership: AdConnection , Anomaly UK, Crispin Porter & Bogusky, Critical Mass, G2 London, Guerillavision, Here & Now 365, Infectious Media, and TBWA\Paling Walters.

The new members join the day after Newsline reported the departure of IPA director general Hamish Pringle after 10 years at the helm.

Pringle will leave his post on 29 July 2011.

The IPA’s president Rory Sutherland, previous president David Pattison and James Goddard will be responsible for appointing a new director general by 1 June, to allow for a two-month handover.
