Video sharing site YouTube has released an updated version of its mobile website.
The site is accessible through iPhones or the Android web browser, and it will include features that are popular on the desktop version.
The new site is faster and more touch-friendly than the previous online site, which suffered limitations for mobile browsers in its previous form.
The mobile video site also has a greater ability to merge video sharing with social media sites and platforms.
Features found on the new mobile site include the option to create playlists, and to ‘like’ or ‘unlike’ particular videos.
YouTube currently receives 100 million video playbacks a day on its mobile site.
