Digg, the social link-sharing website, has relaunched the fourth version of its site.
This version of Digg has focused on improvements for publishers as well as users, and has a greater emphasis on social media.
It allows users to follow other users, by using lists created by Digg and friends on Facebook or Twitter.
Links will appear as a news feed, and will either have been chosen by the users’ friends, or a sponsored advertiser.
By comparison, the previous Digg displayed news submitted across the entire website.
This will now be known as a general news feed, and can be accessed using the “Top News” tab.
Digg will also automatically add an image and description to links submitted by a user.
Digg was first launched in November 2004, and has been relaunched several times since then.
