Omnicom has partnered with AOL, Microsoft and Yahoo! to share US consumer data in a bid to launch targeted online ads, according to The Market Research Industry Online.
Omnicom says the new deal with enable it to avoid criticism over privacy issues, as it will not own the data.
“What we get is real-time access to their audiences at the moment that we need to make a media buy,” the company said.
