Updated Verizon apps allow TV viewing everywhere
US service provider Verizon has just launched free apps that allow customers access to its video-on-demand service ‘Flex View’ anywhere they like on their iOS devices, including iPhone’s and iPad’s.
The Flex View app, launched in November of last year initially allowed customers of its pay-TV service ‘FiOS TV’ more than 4,400 movies and TV shows for rent and purchase on TV, PC and smartphones through Verizon Wireless.
The new Flex View app allows customers to access the updated 32 GB Flex View Library to store, manage and view their personal content on their device from anywhere as well as use the already launched FiOS Mobile Remote app, which turns their device into a remote control for their television.
The Flex View app is now available on Apple’s iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4 and both iPad 1 and 2.
