After a busy few weeks of activity for Netflix as they prepare to launch into the UK market, LOVEFiLM has been pro-active in a different way.
Spotted by PaidContent.co.uk, if you search in Google or Yahoo in the UK for Netflix, the first entry you see is LOVEFiLM, offering “Britain’s largest range of films & games – 70,000 titles and counting”.
PaidContent points out that Google answered an average 110,000 monthly UK searches for “Netflix” this year, according to Google’s AdWords planner, which lists competition for the keyword as “low”. By contrast, Google served 1.22 million monthly “Lovefilm” searches.
