UKTV begin beta testing VOD players

According to reports in Broadcast, UKTV has begun beta testing its channel-branded online video players for free-to-air channels Really, Yesterday and Dave.

The players, provided by Capablue, are expected to be launched later this year.

UKTV is not planning to produce players for pay channels such as Alibi, Gold and Watch, where it will instead offer catch-up via its platform providers’ services.
