ABC Consumer Jul-Dec 2011: Women’s Weeklies

The post-recession market is still having a huge impact on the Women’s Weekly sector, which is down -9.3% on last year (and -4.2% PoP).

Only four titles in our analysis posted PoP increases – Closer, Women’s Weekly, That’s Life and Full House. All of the Women’s Weekly magazines recorded YoY declines.

The top two titles in the sector – Take a Break and New! – are both down YoY and PoP. Other Northern & Shell titles OK! and Star also suffered substantial PoP and YoY falls.
