Adam Freeman to leave Bloomberg Media

Adam Freeman to leave Bloomberg Media

After just 18 months in the role, Bloomberg Media has confirmed that Adam Freeman is to step down as managing director EMEA at the beginning of next year.

The former Guardian commercial director was hired by Bloomberg in May 2014 to lead its multi-media operations across European, Middle Eastern and African markets.

However, Freeman is to depart the company in January 2016 to focus on opportunities in the start-up sector where he already has experience with Mutual Media, a digital advertising start-up he founded in 2012.

During a thirteen-year stint at the Guardian Freeman worked alongside the editorial leadership to drive the digital transformation of its print brands and spearheaded the expansion of its global commercial operations.

He also served as Chairman for Metropolis Music Group.
