Adam Puchalsky joins Wavemaker as global head of content

WPP agency Wavemaker has hired Adam Puchalsky as its new global head of content, effective immediately.

Puchalsky leaves behind his role of managing director at UM Studios, North America. His three-year tenure involved leading content initiatives for top global brands, with Wavemaker claiming he drove “significant growth” for the discipline.

In his new role, Puchalsky’s responsibilities will include continuing to build the agency’s capabilities in content creation and distribution, designing new models and asserting a deeper connection between content and consumer’s purchase journey.

“At Wavemaker, content is more than a specialist offering; it’s an integral part of how the agency unlocks growth for clients and that makes it an exciting and progressive proposition,” Puchalsky said.

“I’m thrilled to join the agency’s team of visionary leaders to build the agency of the future.”

He will report to Wavemaker’s global chief transformation officer, Jason Dormieux.

Commenting on the appointment, Dormieux said: “Adam’s proven track record of building world-class content capabilities and sophisticated content solutions for major global brands makes him the ideal candidate to help us achieve our ambitions.”

“Wavemaker Content is already responsible for a double-digit contribution to our global revenues and we expect this to accelerate over the next two years.”
