Anglia Television announced yesterday that it is to take a stake in Home Box Office, the programme division of Time Warner. The agreement will result in the creation of three partnerships which will aid Anglia in funding drama and entertainment projects. Chairman of the East of England franchise holder, Sir Peter Gibbings, is denying that the venture means an eventual takeover by the US Giant.
