AOL Time Warner And NTL In Talks, Says FT

AOL Time Warner and NTL are in discussions to form a distribution partnership, according to a report in today’s Financial Times.

The paper says that AOL Time Warner – the world’s largest media company, with a host of on- and offline interests – may strike a deal with NTL to give its content broadband distribution in the UK and across Europe.

AOL currently has no cable networks in Europe. NTL is the UK’s largest cable company with 2.2 million homes connected and 7.8 million passed.
