asi: RAJAR to introduce online survey

RAJAR

RAJAR is on the verge of taking part of the survey online, research director Paul Kennedy told the ASI European Radio Symposium in Paris.

After a number of tests, starting with four different survey designs, the industry body has come down to one, which is currently in parallel run with the diary with 5000 placements over 13 weeks.

It is planned that this should be rolled out formally as part and parcel of the main survey in 2011, but given that UK broadband penetration is as low as 65% there is no short-term likelihood of the diary survey being fully replaced.
