AudienceProject, the audience measurement company, has hired former Ebiquity insight chief Martin Radford as UK solutions director.
The appointment comes two months after Radford left Ebiquity, the publicly listed marketing and media consultancy.
Radford has over 30 years of experience in the advertising industry, having begun at Zenith before clocking up 25 years at Ebiquity, where he was most recently director of research and insight.
AudienceProject hired Radford to draw on his extensive industry knowledge and said the appointment will enhance the development of its cross-media measurement solution and its pre- and post-sales processes.
The company announced a deal with Google in July to be the first UK partner of YouTube for providing third-party cross-media reach measurement of ad campaigns across all devices, including connected TV, with co-viewing.
Radford said: “I’m thrilled to be joining AudienceProject. During my time at Ebiquity, I have already had the pleasure of working with AudienceProject on multiple successful projects, especially Mind the Gap, which had AudienceProject data at its core, as well as individual client projects.”
Paul Barnard, UK managing director at AudienceProject, added: “With his deep understanding of the advertising and media landscape, along with a proven track record of delivering results, I’m confident he will be a great asset to AudienceProject in our continued journey to help even more advertisers gain tangible business outcomes from cross-media measurement.”
Ebiquity issued a profit warning in August after its H1 revenue was down by 7%, primarily because of clients reducing budgets. Other than Radford, senior departures from Ebiquity include Debbie Morrison, who retired in September, and chief financial officer Julia Hubbard who left in August.
