BBC Enjoys Little Britain Success

Little Britain BBC1 swept the board last night with its high profile schedule of programmes enjoying a strong audience of adult viewers. The return of Matt Lucas and David Walliams Little Britain attracted an average adult audience of 8.1 million, beating ITV’s Doc Martin which drew in 7.3 million.

The first part of Eastenders pulled a healthy average of 9.2 million adult viewers, while the second show did not fair so well, attracting 7.4 million, a loss of almost 2 million.

The Worst Week of My Life also performed well, with an average of 4.3 million adult viewers tuning in.

Elsewhere, Channel 4 focussed on its UK Music Hall of Fame, which lost out due to the Corporations strong programming, attracting an average of 1.3 adult viewers.
