In a report released yesterday, accountants BDO Binder Hamlyn revealed how the addition of VAT to UK magazines could spell disaster for smaller publishers and have a knock-on effect on the industry as a whole.
The report figures are based on a detailed survey of 20 of the UK’s largest magazine publishers. A further 48 companies completed questionnaires to give additional market information.
