blinkbox in deal with HBO

HBO in the US has teamed up with UK’s blinkbox service to allow their portfolio of programming to be available on the service.

The deal means UK blinkbox customers can now access prime US dramas such as Game of Thrones, True Blood and Broadwalk Empire before they are available on DVD or Blu-Ray.

Viewers will be able to buy individual episodes or purchase a full series, without need for any subscription.
