Brand Advance partners with disabled motorsport team

Brand Advance, the diversity media network that specialises in helping brands reach diverse audiences, has become a long-term partner forTeam BRIT, an all-disabled British motorsport team.

The company is pledging its support of the team ahead of its latest Britcar Championship race weekend at Brands Hatch.

Team BRIT is aiming to be the first all-disabled team to race in the Le Mans 24 hour race. Through its Racing Academy it supports people with physical and psychological challenges in accessing motorsport.

As major sponsors for the next three years, the Brand Advance branding will appear across the team’s cars and race wear and the firm will be influential in supporting Team BRIT’s next steps towards Le Mans.

Brand Advance CEO Christopher Kenna (pictured during a visit to the team’s practice track, above) said: “The team’s commitment to levelling the playing field for drivers of different abilities is essential and aligns closely with our own values and goals of ensuring diverse communities are recognised and celebrated.

“It’s our first time as the main sponsor of a sports team, and we’re proud to be partnered with one that celebrates people with different abilities. We’re excited to learn from them, to understand their viewpoints and ensure this continues to be represented in the work that we do.”

Team BRIT Founder Dave Player added: “We are thrilled to have the support and confidence of Brand Advance, who are perfect partners for us, aligning with our ethos, vision and values perfectly.

“Christopher’s company is committed to recognising and celebrating the value of every part of our diverse communities and making sure that no one is overlooked. That is everything we’re about. We show people that disability does not mean that opportunities are over. Disabled drivers have every right to compete on a level playing field and we’re living proof that we’re not only able to compete, we’re able to win.”
