Britain Beats The Apprentice

Andrew Johnston Last night saw The Apprentice go head to head with the second Britain’s Got Talent live semi-final, with the ITV1 show emerging the victor in the ratings war.

Britain’s Got Talent, which ran from 8.30pm to 10pm, had a peak audience of 8.6 million adult viewers, a 36.5% share of viewing.

Appearing again on Saturday’s final will be Andrew Johnston and Cheeky Monkeys, with Johnston gaining the most votes on the night and ther judges choosing Cheeky Monkeys over the equally fantastic Flava.

The Apprentice, on BBC One from 9pm to 10pm, had a peak audience of 6.6 million adults viewers, a 28.4% viewing share.

Michael Sophocles was the latest wannabe to feel the full force of Sir Alan’s finger wag, after his team failed a task to rent sports cars.
