BSkyB cuts number of Sky Sports and Sky Movie magazines

Sky Movies magazine

BSkyB is set to half the number of issues it publishes of Sky Sports and Sky Movies magazine in March.

The two magazines, which are due to move from monthly to bi-monthly publications, will also be revamped with new editorial and design features as part of the move.

Sky Movies is set to change to a larger format and increase from 40 to 60 pages to incorporate new content such as interviews with US movie stars.

Sky Sports magazine will also increase its pagination from April to include new behind the scenes commentary and images, special features from sports writers and analysis on future sporting events.

The move follows the relaunch of SkyMag as Sky Magazine last month, which has increased its frequency from 10 to 12 issues a year.
