Capital 95.8 In Gig Sponsorship Deal

Radio GCap Media’s Capital 95.8 has signed a major sponsorship deal with leading make-up brand Rimmel London, to support their summer series of exclusive gigs.

The CapitaLive Summer Tour, which kicked off yesterday and runs until the end of August, will feature gigs from bands and artists including Duffy, Scouting for Girls, Adele, The Feeling and The Kooks.

All the activity will be supported via a fully integrated muilti-media promotional campaign. Activity will include a schedule of live reads and pre-recorded trailers promoted by Capital’s DJ’s throughout the day; a bespoke section of the Capital 95.8 website featuring tickets and Rimmel London goody bag competitions, gig footage and live tracks/videos of each of the artists; a heavyweight CRM campaign encouraging online footfall and SMS activity both pre and post the gigs which will include branded Rimmel London bounce backs.

The Capital 95.8 street teams, who will be sampling a range of the Rimmel products, in the local London regions hosting the gigs, will further support the campaign.

The deal was conceived and negotiated by GCap Media’s group head GCap Solutions Tamsin Anderson and OMD’s associate radio director Kate Roscoe and Associate Fuse director Cate Murden.
